Trainer — Trainer Recertification

Every 3 years

  1. 1 PECB Certification — For each scheme you wish to continue delivering, you must hold the corresponding PECB certification, which must be valid and in good standing. You must have at least one valid PECB Lead certification.
  2. 2 Delivering a PECB Training Course — You must have delivered at least one (1) PECB training course during the past three (3) years of your tenure as a trainer.
  3. 3 Positive Feedback — You must have maintained an average rating of 3.5 or higher on training courses delivered throughout your three (3) year tenure.
  4. 4 PECB Trainer Agreement — If all the above requirements are met, you must read, agree to, and sign the PECB Trainer Agreement.
  5. 5 Presenting the PECB brand and services accurately — You must accurately, efficiently, and ethically represent the PECB Brand. Trainers should not teach for unauthorized partners, engage in unethical behavior, or provide inaccurate information.

If all requirements are met at the certificate expiration date, your Trainer certificate will be automatically renewed.

Note: For trainers who do not meet the recertification requirements, a one (1) year waiting period applies before they can reapply.
